WHERE IS QATAR?

Qatar is at a magical meridian that breathes in both the northern and eastern hemispheres. It’s a small country, but potent in so many ways. It is a land that has turned sand into gold. Its capital, Doha, blazes like a great pageant of light; a land of giants in steel, glass and dreams; a place that pushes the limits of the possible, and not so much predicts the future, as invents it. Qatar sits on the edge of the Arabian Gulf, bordering Saudi Arabia to the south, and is the hub to the world, a bridge between East and West, the cross roads of the economic, cultural and natural heritage of the Middle East, Europe and Africa.

QATAR:DRIVING RAW Perhaps the finest example of driving the country from day to night and city to desert (or basically what happens when a film crew has too many gopros at their disposal).

WHAT AND WHERE TO DRINK

Many people think Qatar is a dry country and that would be an incorrect assumption. While the sale of alcohol is tightly controlled, if you do want to indulge your best bet is to head to the bar/restaurant of any of the big international hotels.
